While staying in the Marche region we visited the commune of San Severino in the Province of Macerata. San Severino is about 50Km southwest from Ancona and about 25km from Macerata.
In San Severino you will see many beautiful buildings including the modern art gallery, The Cathedral of San Lorenzo in Doliolo, The Cloister of San Domenico, The Sanctuary of Santa Maria del Glorioso, Church of the Maestà di Parolito and Palazzo Servanzi Confidati which is without a doubt one of the most impressive buildings in San Severino
San Severino is also famous in the Marche area for its many great restaurants.
If you feel like running away from the busy cities, this is a nice solution. This cosy village is a small piece of paradise
My friends at the Edu Lingua School in Castelraimondo where I have attended twice have now planned to open another school in San Severino. The school will be in a beautiful palace of the 17th century that will host not only the classrooms but also the rooms for the students.
You would sure be an excellent ambassador for those schools you attended over in Italy. Jd.
Thanks JD. I had such a wonderful time there
Hi Lyn
