Happy Easter from Coffs Harbour Australia
It has been a very wet Easter in this part of the world. I do enjoy the rain but it can limit your activities.
Today, Easter Sunday we decided it was time to get out of the house and go for a drive locally.
2 minutes drive from here is the very famous surfing beach, Diggers Beach. As it turned out we weren’t not the only ones who decided to visit Diggers on this wet Easter Sunday morning.
There were dozens of board riders out catching the small waves. Although it looked very small surf apparently it was a good swell.
To make it even nicer there is a young entrepreneur in his mobile coffee café offering many different coffees and teas and nice things to eat.
So, with cappuccino in hand we sat at the purposely built surf-watch lookout and enjoyed the view and our lovely coffees.
Diggers is a very popular surfing and swimming beach which hosts several major board riding competitions each year.
The location is outstanding, 2 minutes from the family home, 5 minutes walk to the Big Banana tourist attraction and only a short drive to Park Beach shopping mall and just a little further to Coffs CBD and more surfing beaches
